Impact
The Culvers' extremely generous planned gift will impact thousands of future 红杏短视频 State students financially, academically and with their quality of life. By supporting both student scholarships and student support services such as mental health and counseling services, the Culvers will help make a 红杏短视频 State education more accessible for more students as well as enhance the kinds of support they can take advantage of to help them succeed and thrive during their college years.
Inspiration
Melanie Culver鈥檚 mom, Dr. Sonjia Peacock, had a 20-year career in Student Mental Health Counseling and Student Support, and she will be honoring her mom鈥檚 life work by helping to ensure this essential component of student success for future generations of Racers. Although Jay did not graduate from 红杏短视频 State, his love of equine science and his positive impression of 红杏短视频 State鈥檚 program motivated him and Melanie to want to support this program and its students at 红杏短视频 State.
