ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ

MURRAY, Ky. – The ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University Department of Art & Design and University Galleries are pleased to announce the capstone exhibitions of work by Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) students for Fall 2025.

The exhibitions will be on view until Nov. 7 in the Mary Ed Mecoy Hall Gallery and the Clara M. Eagle Galleries, located on the sixth and seventh floors of the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building on ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State’s campus. An opening reception will be held in the galleries on Friday, Nov. 7,  from 5 to 7 p.m.

In partial fulfillment of their graduation requirements, students pursuing a Fine Arts degree (BFA, BA or BS) are required to present an exhibition of recent works completed during their study at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University. With the guidance of individualized advisors and faculty committees and the director of University Galleries, these capstone exhibitions generally take the form of concurrent exhibitions or small groups of students presenting as a collective within a gallery space.

      • Learning Different by Randi Miget (Dyer, Tennessee), BFA Art/Graphic Design Track

      • Earthen Desire by Cheyenne Pender (Bardwell, Kentucky), BFA Art/Art Education P-12 Certification Track

      • The Weight of Work by Bailey Provine (ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ, Kentucky), BFA Art/Art Education P-12 Certification Track

      • Feline Frenzy by Alissa Redding (Poplar Bluff, Missouri), BFA Art/Graphic Design Track

      • It’s a Sin by Aphiii Rogers (Mayfield, Kentucky), BFA Art/Studio Art

The University Galleries visitor hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to the galleries is free and open to the public.
