ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University invites community to A Taste of the Arts

The 12th annual A Taste of the Arts fundraising gala will be held Thursday, October 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Room of the CFSB Center. A Taste of the Arts showcases the many talents of ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University students in Art & Design, Music, and Theatre Arts while providing fine dining and a live auction for attendees. The event gathers ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State supporters and alumni along with community members to celebrate excellence in the fine arts at the University.

Emergent SocialScapes, an exhibit of photographs by Dr. Diane Sabenacio Nititham, associate professor of sociology at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University, is on display at the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Art Guild (MAG) through Saturday, October 30. A reception for the exhibit will be held at MAG on Friday, October 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are open to the public.

ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State Theatre Arts program opens season with children’s play, Androcles and the Lion

The Department of Global Languages and Theatre Arts at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University is pleased to present its first show of the 2021-22 performance season, Androcles and the Lion. All performances will take place in the Robert E. Johnson Theatre in the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building on ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State’s campus. Performance dates are Wednesday, September 29 at Noon; Thursday, September 30 at 9:30 a.m.; Friday, October 1 at 9:30 a.m.; and Saturday, October 2 at 2:30 p.m.
