Alex West, a ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University senior health and physical education (HPE) major from Evansville, Indiana, has been named the Health and Physical Education Major of the Year by the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE America).
ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University has awarded a total of 18 incoming students with the prestigious Presidential Fellowship, which includes full tuition, housing and meals for up to four years at the University.
ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University student Karrington Edwards, of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., was among the dedicated student leaders recently selected to receive a prestigious Order of Omega scholarship.
Members of the campus and broader community attended a special presidential portrait unveiling and reception on April 25 to recognize Dr. Bob Jackson, who will retire from ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University as President on June 30.
